I went dancing last night for the first time in like…2 years.

I just booked a hall out for an hour and just did my own thing - warm ups etc and then just did some improvisation to a couple of songs to try and decide what to make up a dance to first…..

I can barely walk today. =\ that’s really bad!

So, I’ve never ever done this before - its all very new and exciting. Haha!

I decided to start a blog simply because I talk (to myself) an awful lot and it’s starting to worry me, so I thought if I write it all down and there is the possibility of other people reading it, that makes me slightly saner.

Basically, I’m a bit crazy with massive bunch of big ideas.

I’ve started up my own jewellery business which means I now have even more stuff in my room than before! I love making things, and have a million and one ideas floating round in my head all the time for it - I’m currently planning on expanding out into other accessories such as bags, scarves etc. If you have any suggestions for accessories you’d like to see, let me know.

I currently make necklaces, bracelets, earrings, hair slides, keyrings and brooch/badges. I’m also working on some ring designs at the moment.

You may also see from my little bit on the right (although I know it probably won’t be there in a months time cos i’ll have got bored with this layout and changed it round) that I’m a trainee web designer. I’m currently working for my parents (which is actually a lot cooler than it sounds) at www.webok.co.uk and I’m loving it. Started there January 2010, and I’m in charge of the social media side of things, as well as all things admin and learning how to code in the times in between!

My main ambition in life is probably to be on stage, or TV, or the big screen (not fussed really, just to perform!) I sing, dance and act and, without being too big headed, I think I’m pretty good. I love performing - just stepping into someone elses shoe’s as an actress, or really feeling a song, or just letting myself go while dancing, I can’t imagine I’ll ever want to stop.

I do have a music myspace - go to www.myspace.com/soloshorti - there’s not much on there at the moment, but myself and friend are planning on getting together and doing some music soon, and he’s got some decent recording equipment, so we’ll be doing some recording of our stuff hopefully!

I think I should stop rambling for the moment, and I promise I’ll try to make my next post much more interesting!
